With EMPIRE's anniversary this year, is there anyone out there in cyberspace who ever went to the films original 1980 preview screenings in the US, before the film was officially released? What were the noticeable differences between what you saw- the work prints?- and what came to movie theaters? Did you have to fill out the test audience cards at the end? And if so, do you recall what you put down?
If you were amongst those lucky few, please get in touch and tell us your stories of where and when you saw it, and what it was like to attend such an important event!
